Spring MVHS Lax
Welcome to the Spring 2024 registration for 9th-12th grade male lacrosse players that live within the attendance boundaries of Mountain View High School.
To complete your registration, you will need:
- A valid/current US Lacrosse membership for High School.
- Please be aware that Mountain View Lacrosse does follow the IHSAA (Idaho High School Athletic Assoc.) guidelines, and it is required that all players submit a physical verification for the 2023-24 school year. All 9th and 11th graders, as well as new participants in any high school sport, are required to provide a physical that was completed after May 1st, 2023. 10th and 12th graders who provided physicals the previous year must provide an Interim Health Questionnaire filled out and signed by a parent/guardian. If your player does a physical for the Fall team, the physical or health questionnaire will still be valid for the spring season.
You will also need to upload the following forms:
- Concussion Acknowledgement Form
- Physical Examination and Consent Form | (FOR FRESHMEN AND JUNIORS)
- Interim Health Questionnaire | (FOR SOPHOMORES AND SENIORS)
- Player Agreement
- Photo Waiver
Ages
This program is open to players in grades 9-12. They must live within the boundaries of Mountain View High School.
When
We will hold tryouts and begin practicing in February. The season will end with the playoffs the week of May 13-18.
Where
Practices are held at Gordon Harris Park (behind the high school). Games will be held on the turf at MVHS as well as various fields around the Boise area.
Practices
Team practices are held from 4:30pm-6:30pm on all days of the week except game days.
Games
We will play approximately 10 games this season not including playoffs.
Jerseys
Jerseys are not provided as part of the spirit pack. They will be returned at the end of the season.
Extra Costs
We will be attending a tournament this season which may include an additional fee. It is TBD.
Deposits
We will require a $150 check for a uniform deposit. We will also require a $150 check for the volunteer requirement deposit. These will be returned at the end of the season if requirements are met.
